Why on earth would you want Corr in over Paynter?

I would suggest it's because, when fit, Corr is clearly a better footballer than Paynter.

Wait a sec, are you  Fishing. ? If so, then my hangover is to blame and congratulations.

im so pissed of with this 'if corr was fit' bollocks, if he was fit he wouldnt have ended up at swindon, he would still be at leeds/sheff wed. same with Kanyuka good enough for the championship but cos he always injured he ends up in league 1

Clearly? When has Corr proved to be a better football than Paynter?

Barry Corr has probably not even played 10 games in a row for us. He hasnt played enough to prove much to us.

Plus, Corr isnt fit. He has been injured pretty much ever since we signed him. He played two(?) 30 minute spells of pre-season football so it clearly no where near match fit, where as Paynter is.

So I dont understand why you'd be gutted to see a fit, expirenced, better player start instead of an un-fit, injury prone players who hasnt played a full game in months?!

Then of course there is the fact Paynter and Cox were our best partnership last season and have played most of pre-season together.

At no point did i say anything like that, I was merely pointing out that a fit Barry Corr is a better footballer than a fit Billy Paynter. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind, including Billy Paynter, not agreeing with that.

In the instance, such as yesterday when Paynter is fit, and Corr is not, then i would rather Paynter start.

I can't be bothered to look this up, but who has the better goals per game?

Has Paynter ever played 10 games in a row for us?

I'm not a great Paynter fan, but yesterday he tried his socks off, he always does, he scored a great goal, but he is not a natural goalscorer, never has been, Corr on the other hand is.

At the end of the day a fit Corr instead of Paynter (definitely), but will he ever he fit to play 10 in a row, doubt it.

So going round in circles I suppose, whats the best option for Swindon at the present time, then it has to be Paynter, does that make sense.

The Corr if fit thing has been touted for ages. Billy looked 100 times better than he did last season. Committed, confident, jumped for the ball and got stuck in. Paynter was shit hot yesterday and was my MOTM,.

Dell u say Corr is a natural goalscorer???
is this the same Barry Corr who never scored for Leeds, played nearly 20 games for sheff wed and never scored, and never scored in a league game on loan at bristol city.
Before signing for us Barry Corr had scored 1 goal in a cup game for Bristol City, not a natural goalscorer!!

How many did he score for Swindon in limited appearances.
And what is Paynters goals per games ratio, not as good as Corrs I think you will find.
