Good lord...

Quote
STEVE McMahon was today understood to be locked in talks with Newcastle United's hierarchy as a takeover seemingly edged closer.

The former Liverpool midfielder was pictured in the St James's Park directors' box last night just days after the Singapore-based Profitable Group he is involved with was linked with a £260m takeover of Newcastle.

United last night dismissed speculation that McMahon was there for talks on a buyout, and instead claimed McMahon was on Tyneside to advise the club on its Far East strategy.

From Wise to McMoan, I give it a week and King will be their new gaffer.

This was in the NOTW sunday.Have to admit to surprise at seeing his picture in connection with it,but not as much surprise as at the thought of yet another stupid business man wanting to spend a fortune buying Newcastle FC again  Soapy Tit Wank

Think Mcmahon has been doing TV work for a Singapore sports channel as well so its maybe a bit less random than it at first appears.

Saw this in the paper this morning.  As I was reading the article I glanced over at the picture and found myself thinking 'Yep, but who's that fat forker?'

Then I realised the pudgy red-faced man was McMahon himself.  The years have not been kind to him.
