The cynical part of me says that the re-vamp of the club shop is behind target and is the real reason why the shop remains closed. The delay of the kit is a convienent cover up. Lets be honest, if the kits were here how could we buy them with the shop looking like a building site?

*Not fact, just a possibility like*

The shop-fit is complete I think? Just needs to be stocked. Given that over half the shop space will be set aside for shirts then it makes sense to re-launch with the prime product in place.

Heard today that we don't have the new kits because of a typhoon in Hong Kong not allowing the boats and planes to deliver.  Smiley

I know it's against the law to criticise the new board, but they announced first it would be open for the Cardiff game, then Tranmere, now Monday. As I said at the start of this thread, there's a lot of merchandise other than replica kits they could flog, so the question is why aren't they?

I don't think it's "against the law" as it were to criticise the new board Hertha, I thiknk people are just willing to cut them a little slack after what they've done over the last 8 months.  I agree with you here though the kit/club shop issue has been a bit of a balls up.  Hopefully they'll pull their finger out and get it sorted toute suite as they will be aware of the missed revenue.

Cheesy   Yeah err sorry about that!

Just remembered I bought my niece and nephew last season's kit, don't think I've bought anything in there before that for a couple of years though.  I can't tell you all, especially Orvil, how disappointed I am that I can't go in there today though.  I'll just have to stay in the pub for a little longer i s'pose.

It is pretty obvious that the Board are becoming complacent and generally losing the plot.
