As Si said, I think you need to check the definition of the word 'murder'!

Being Fucking stupid dosnt mean you get beasted to death though Sie Pie.....being forced to run miles with all your kit on in 30 degrees heat then forced to exercise for an hour after this isnt good for any human, drugs in the body or not....manslaughter at the very least in my eyes.

But as Foggy said, he could have simply took his alternative punishment. Didn't he get taken to the medical centre when he said he was unwell?

And no, taking drugs and drinking doesn't deserve getting beasted to death, but then it's going to fuck up your body. There are plenty of soldiers who endure worse in war situations and they don't die. If you don't think the army is going to be tough when you sign up then you're probably too soft for it.

You can agree to a punishment without taking responsibility for the fact you might die. I'm trying to stay a bit vague on this one, but my problem with the military is when it thinks it's special.

There's a difference between discipline and being trained to blindly follow orders. Someone who can spend their life doing a shit job they hate has discipline, someone who can fire a gun or march somewhere when told is just easily led. There is a difference. The armed forces are trained to be one of them, but it's not discipline.

and of course, the officer who said, I want this man brought to me panting like a dog, wasn't in court.  That may of been a big mistake
