I read with interest in this mornings Metro that Ince is taking a punt on Robbie Fowler.

The bloke is out of his mind surely ?

That's as mad as signing an unfit player for Swindon, who lives in Cheshire and says he'll commute.

i love robbie fowler. i recon he'll do well at bburn as a kind of last 10-15 minute player and would be a quality bloke to have around the training ground, especially for the young strikers (derbyshire gallaghe etc).

fair fucks to ince.

He's also quality to have round the training ground if you need a house to rent.  The bloke has hundreds of houses doesn't he, he's the renting king.

Fowlers only 33. I know its alot of ifs but if he can get over his injury problems and if he can get match fit he could still grab a decent amount of goals because hes always been a poacher.

Got to agree if he can get a clear run at getting fit and is focussed on playin rather than his property empire he'll be quite a solid asset coming off the bench.

I can't help but think he'll get to January and be ushered out of the door.
