I see today that he's joined Exeter.Should do a decent job for them for a season or two.

Yeovil fans are of the opinion that Stewart was there best player last season.

Seems as if Starnes is working his magic there. He's responsible for negotiating new contracts for existing/new players.

Stewart wasn't offered a new deal (Pay per play only) Starnes was out of the country on holiday for the last two weeks and, with three weeks till the new new season, they haven't got any goalkeepers.......

Says something when he's offered a contract by Yeovil and turns it down in favour of Exeter!

The only chance Yeovil have of staying up is if 4 teams get deducted 15 points, and even then it will be close.

Despite being very much an outsider, it would certainly seem to me that Yeovil Town's boom era is coming to an end - I wouldn't like to say if they're bad enough to go down though... Hope so.

The team that made the play-offs has been dismantled in the time since. We know too well how that ends up.

All the Yeovil fans I know are distraught about Stewart leaving them and they themslves are preparing for the stuggle this year, I hope they dont go down as I have a lot of good friends who support them and the away game is on my doorstep almost.

Personally I cant see them being good enough without a large investment in the team to stay up.

They are also calling for Martin Starnes to get the chop!

From the 16 man squad Yeovil had on their teamsheet at Wembley just over a year ago, four remain - three of which are in the twilight of their football careers (Guyett, Skiverton & Jones). I think them losing Davies and Cohen to Forest so soon after Wembley was probably the beginning of their decline.

Didnt see him commentating on the Cox goal either.

OF, I know he played for you for a long time. But he's also not league standard and another reason why you are non league.
