sounds like a bit of a long shot - hes very young but has a good background at Standard Liege - worth a trial ... makes you wonder why Nicho wasnt kept on tho doesnt it?

Just the six appearances for his club but then he's only 21. Could be a gamble tbh.

I was more concerned with immediate negativity than the sentiment of what the guy was saying as I do agree to some extent but then again if the young british talent keeps turning us down then if he turns out to be the next Toure or Eboue then i am not going to complain.

The manager doesn't rate him? Just a thought.

Because it had been established over the course of 5 years that he was mildly rubbish?

If you want to watch him lunging in and looking very one-footed but quick and strong - why not watch his agent's video here...

If the videos are anything to go by he looks very very one footed but incredibly strong and speedy and quick witted.

I like the look of him, from that anyway! who knows what his moments of right footedness on the ball are like!

Gotta be worth a gamble IMO looks like he could be fun to watch at least!

As for the THISIS site, I am totally appalled by some of the comments on there, totally unbelieveable, TBH I dont know why I waste my time reading the comments some of our fans are so bloody narrow minded.

JJ - I have to agree with you on the comments on thisis - this is an air of negativity on there that confounds any real logic - except for the fact that they obviously dont like Malpas and are looking for any reason at all to moan about him.

Havent they realised hes the magic man yet? I expect a rabbit to be pulled out of the hat at the last moment Smiley

Oh come on guys, the thisis comments section has been invaded with some twat on a wind up with multiple aliases. Used to be called "red army", gets banned, rejoins.

I don't think the average person think like that.

The comment from REDFRED is quite clearly a windup. At this rate i can see the youngsters having to step up this year, Joyce, Morrison, Allen, etc.

From the looks of those three though i think they can do it. The lack of activity could be a blessing in disguise, or is that just me being over optimistic?
