SWINDON Town have reached an agreement in principle with Wolves over the signing of Richie Mulgrew - with boss Maurice Malpas hoping to secure the deal in the next 48 hours.
Malpas is hopeful personal terms will be agreed over the weekend, allowing him to unveil the left back early next week.
He also revealed his interest in Manchester United youngster Ritchie Jones was now dead while admitted it would take a "minor miracle" to sign midfielder Josh Low from Peterborough.

Meh - Sounds to me that there is still plenty to do in this deal. I think we're jumping the gun somewhat.

We've been a better side than you for the last 4 years. Country Ground says three points to me these days. Whoa four years - an eternity. As if that makes any difference. Every fan should know that in tier 3 and tier 4 football potentially last seasons whipping boys can easily become next seasons major challengers. I'd like to see Mulgrew sign just to annoy them. |
