If hes down to his last year then I suggest we sit down and start contract talks now and give him what he wants.
Sure he wasnt at his best last season, but he's a bloody good keeper and one we want to keep here.
It we dont sign him up now, then come January he can talk to other clubs or we sell him on the cheap ala Fallon.
The Board dont get much, if any critism....but I'd be dissapointed if Brez left us for nothing. If he genuinly wants a new contract here than give it to him asap.

i reckon he'll stay.like i've said before, the only reason he didn't go last year, was because he didn't want to leave. cant blame him for maximising his earning potential.he felt he was getting pushed away last year and he was right.maybe he is looking after his future now?

Brezovan to leave on a free is a absolute no-no.
He's not invincible but I think our current two are as good as we've had since Digby (who as we all know never adequately replaced 10 years on)
Talia-Mildenhall-Glass-Griemink-Evans have all tried to establish themselves as Swindon's number 1 and have all ultimately failed for whatever reason - whether it's poor form, leaving or just being plain bad.
I think a mainstay goalkeeper is an integral part of a successful football team. Smith is consistant but with the right guidance Brezovan can become a top notch goalkeeper.

the thing is he could get better.and has shown that he is capable of top notch goal keeping.he could be better than digby, but aint there yet.he has flaws like his communication and kicking, but has so much potential. dunno what you mean by "as good as you lot think" yeovil?

I think we all see a real possibility that bigger clubs will be willing to pay good money for Brez, he's got a few creases to iron out at the moment but average goalkeepers are just not capable of producing performances like he did away at Hartlepool, Spencer has already said but that was for me the single greatest display of goalkeeping I've ever seen live and if he'd not got injured he'd have been in the L2 team of the year no problem that season.
Average L1 goalkeepers are a dime-a-dozen and for me Brez stands head and shoulders above that bracket, get him signed up, he's a key figure in the new look STFC if you ask me.
