Malpas wants a Man U youngster to join us for pre-season
Apparently he has appeared for Man U in the cup, played in L1 last season and the championship previously according to the adver.
Anyone know who it is ?
I'm sure JVC99 knows as he seems to be the Oracle

I looked up Jones on Wiki and he was at Yeovil last season on loan and also played in the CCC the previous season with Barnsley and Colchester. It's got to be him.

I've seen a bit of Ritchie Jones and he's good, but no Jimmy Davis. He'd be good for us though. Bit like McNamee, excellent in two games from three, non existent in the other. Not quite McNamee's skill but has bit more of a physical presence. Quick, chucks loads of cosses in, highly though of at United but clearly never had a sniff.

I've heard of him courtesy of his loan spell at Yeovil last year, but I always thought he was more of a central midfielder than a wide right type player. You seem to be inferring he may be the competition to McGovern that Malpas seems to crave there juddie......

Manchester United confirmed today that Jones will be released on Monday - But I guess that goes without saying doesn't it! |
