I have also heard that Adidas are to be the second sponsor, not sure if theres anything in that either.
I had heard a similar rumour a couple of weeks ago that we are going to ditch lotto at the end of the season and we have a decent deal with Adidas for all club merchandise lined up.  |

That would be superb (assuming it is true and things stay affordable). I have found the quality of Lotto kit rather disappointing, and I'm not on about peeling sponsors logo (resolved for black kit), but the 'cheapness' of the embroidery of the club badge and along with "Swindon Town F.C." on the blue and white Lotto .
That said, it's net clear who was responsible for the embroidery. Lotto, or the club via Mrs Doris Chumney-stoker , aged 81.

How could adidas be second sponsors? We'd have their logo on a lotto kit, just wouldn't happen. I think it was alleged they'd be replacing Lotto, not coming in as a second sponsor. All heresay. I'll put my guess into the ring now. Stadium sponsorship or Bath rugby groundshare. |

in all seriousness i know of a big annoucement, but if Gazza has been informed it was the kit deal then fair enough. But i cant post what the other news is, in case thats not todays annoucement, if it comes out, people at the club know which person has told someone and he would be fucked

in all fairness, the "source" of the original hint is pretty reliable, in so far as he wouldn;t get a kick out of spreading rumour for fun etc. If he thinks something is being announced he'd be genuine in that belief. I suppose it's a case of whether he's been given a nod and wink that something might happen, or something will happen.
I can't really think of much to be honest, I think this new world we exist in has made announcement about sponsors etc seem normal again. It used to be big news if we'd paid the players, now I'm thinking that Big may mean a huger multi million pound investment in the playing budget. Damn, must get back to having negative expectations.
