Tuesday/Wednesday evening, at the very least two half days off work, if not two full days for their fans.  Fire with fire...

Exactly my thought as well.  Providing the cheap flights are available that long what with fuel etc.

I would have driven but noway I'll do it on a Friday night.  Be too exhausted.

I checked on EasyJunket the other day and return flights to Newcastle from Bristol were around the 50 quid mark with taxes - didn't check those exact dates though, so don't hold me to those prices!

Hmm thats not bad, I mean not cheap for an away day but not OTT, I wonder how much a hummer would cost?

I quite like Hartlepool away, furthest away from civilisation!

I will be staying in Redcar again for this , Go to the local pub The Pig N Whistle where they are all fanatic Boro fans and have them on the table singing Town songs and abusing the 3 Hartlepool fans who sit in the corner.

First time we went my mate said whatever you do keep it quiet that you support Swindon so i walked in and starting singing Swindon songs

Messy weekend that was.

Takes the piss to be honest about Hartlepool changed 6 fixtures to Fridays... NOTICE all the teams they are playing in these games are southern teams, almost like they are looking for an advantage knowing people down south wont travel on Friday nights etc... Might make a weekend of it and go on the lash in Newcastle though!

==============================================

Hartlepool United have made 6 changes to their fixtures for the upcoming season.

A total of 4 games have been switched to Friday nights with 2 away games making a similar switch.

The first home game to move is the Cheltenham game which moves to September 12. The match against Swindon comes forward to Friday October 3.

Just before Christmas the game against Southend is switched to December 19 with the Northampton match moved to January 16.

Pools reverse fixture with the Cobblers is moved to October 10 with Southend away now being played on March 27.

All games kick off a 7:45pm.
