Not sure where all this interest in Mark Hughes has come from, what with Man City and (paper talk) of Chelsea.

He has done a good but not spectacular job at Blackburn IMHO.

Oh well, who cares really.

I think he did a pretty good job at Blackburn, 7th place last season was probably higher than anybody expected them to finish.

Looks like my money on Mancini going to Chelski is safe. Hughes has gone to Man City and Ancellotti is staying put at Meeeeeelan  Cool

Fat sam would be the right choice for them. Blackburn have no right to be as good as they are currently given their fiances and fanbase and Allerdyce has the track record of over achieving with a similar club.

Chelski will shock everyone and get someone no one expects

Hughes has proved himself first with Wales and then with Blackburn and was probably right to be picked up by another club, I suspect give it another year or 2 and Martin O Neil will be linked with top jobs again.

It is a shame that premiership teams are unwilling to take some of the lower league managers that have cut their teeth in the championship, there are a few there that are good, and may do well when stepping up.

I suspect though that Ince along with Shearer will be linked with Blackburn but they will probably got for someone like Alardyce or Strachan

I like Mark Hughes but going to the Thai Blues could be the death warrant on a promising career where he would have been better served with the stability of Rovers than the Won Ton cauldron.

If they end up signing ’The Show’ for silly amounts of money it’ll be interesting to see how Hughes handles him and where he slots into the side what with Hughes’ workmanlike sides.

I give him 12 months  Cheesy

I wonder if the average Citah fan will be that impressed with having a "red" legend at the helm!!

That's all we need here, Brian Tinnion to replace MM and we'd be well set!

They had a few on the news last night and they were fairly untroubled with Hughes’ Red past and I suppose having had to cope with Peter Schmeichel arrival in recent seasons old Hughes isn’t much to get over in the great scheme of things.
