I'll be watching - I have a keen interest in U.S. football - not so much the MLS - more the ASL and NASL eras.

In fairness their national anthem is always asking for a melodramatic rendition.
Judging by the sports games I've attended in the U.S. they're generally like that version!
Should've done the Borat version.

How can scoring in a pointless friendly possibly soften the blow of a Champions League penalty miss? It's like every time we fuck up in the Summer tournies and someone like Rooney or Gerrard scores a screaming for their domestic club the commentators say... "that certainly makes up for the summer" How's that exactly?
