How many times do they play eachother in a season?

How can a league containing 12 teams end with each team playing 38 games?

I'm confused.

They play each other 3 times, (33 in total) then the league splits into top half 6 bottom half 6, where they play each other once (5 matches) equalling 38.

PS Come on Celtic!!!!

Isn't that because of extra games in cups etc?

Great to see Rangers come unstuck again, so that's 2 out of 2 in the last week they've managed to fuck up.  One to go.

Come on the Doonhamers, how I'd love to see "Queen of the South" on the cup come Saturday evening!!!!

Well done to the Tim's!!!!!!!

3 in a row.
