*Bump* Meet tomorrow 6.45 in Legends (Winners) if you can spare some time to help push season tickets on an unsuspecting public.

I think those of us who turned out last night deserve something Paul, like a club t-shirt for instance Not sure if i managed to convince many to buy a season ticket but hey the message got out there a bit more so was certainly worth doing And as for that Shitty fan walking bold as brass past the County Ground like that,Jesus wept :x

Okish.Only seven people turned up and two of them were STFC staff! But it was enough for a team of two.We did the bottom end of town which was dead, probably for the best cause it meant the knob quota was less than it might have been.I didn't get any hassle, but then my approach was more good cop to Paul's bad cop Course there were quite a few who were like why would i want to watch that rubbish but i didn't stay to argue with them, think PaulD did though There were also quite a few Town fans about and a lot of the pubs took the leaflets to display so all in all not a bad night really. Not sure if its something i'd want to do again though! Have to mention how much of a hero Paul is,all the stuff he does for the club and the trust,he must deserve some sort of TEF award or something

Went well I think. Thanks to those who did show - we had two teams of three doing town centre (one lot downtown, one lot Old Town) plus Spencer's "Operation Windmill Outreach", a couple of guys doing pubs in Bradford on Avon (dropped some leaflets off there on Tuesday), plus three from the SC doing pubs in West Oxon. Not heard from the out of town guys, but for the two teams doing town centre, we covered about 25 pubs which is pretty good going in one evening. I think most of us got a more positive response than we expected. Very little hassle/negative response although what there was was more from people who identified themselves as being "native Swindonians" ie didn't really get a lot of "sod off I support a plastic Prem side" which we kind of expected. Quite a few people seemed genuinely surprised/interested at the prices, especially with the kids 3 quid a game - got a fair amount of interest along the lines of "Mum/Dad + kid". All in all, well worth doing - we got a load of leaflets out and talked to a load of people who weren't aware of the ST prices, who were at least polite enough to feign interest Big thanks to Alan J, larwood, Lady (plus mate) and Spencer for turning out. And to Chris and Adam from the club for pitching in as well. Still disappointed at the lack of cabbage gun in the van, mind.

I think those of us who turned out last night deserve something Paul, like a club t-shirt for instance Meh. T-shirt, Shmee-Shirt. At the very least you deserve your own youth team player to act as your personal boot boy for a week. I'll chase them on it.
