MAJOR SYSTEM FAILURE

thats what the ticket office bloke told me Sad

they cant process any applications currently, meaning i am going to have to get myself out of bed tomorrow morning after tonights piss up

dammit

They take your details and will process them when fixed.

Not for me they didn't. 4 of us went went down in our lunch break armed with £600 between us and were bluntly told we would have to come back because of a computer problem. I find it quite appalling there is no contingency plan for this sort of thing and turning paying customers away when trying to hit a target I find most odd. Get it sorted STFC. I know we will come back but it might make others think twice.

Come on chaps (not you si) Its a new system, bound to be issues at first.  So many people on here stuck up for Terminal 5 and Heathrow when that went tits up!  Give our little box office a chance please - its a step forward from what we've ever had before ticketing wise!  If some of you don't want to go in, wait until the online system is working and use that.  Wink

Or post the fucking form! It only costs a 1st class stamp and, if you add £1.50, they'll even post your season ticket(s) back to you.

No queues, no hassle........

My dad renewed his yesterday I think. He goes with a friend and his son (not sure if they've renewed yet or not)

I was tempted to get one myself as I plan to go to quite a few Saturday home matches (10 is my target) but I don't think it is financially viable bearing in mind it costs me about 150 Euro just to get to the County Ground each time I come over.

Yes, but I can see the point GR is making - fair enough, systems do fail, but surely it's not unreasonable to say well OK, we'll take your completed forms and your cash and add them when the system comes back up? We need to be selling all the tickets we can and if there's people stood there with completed forms and cash, they shouldn't be turned away.

<disclaimer>There may be a perfectly good explanation as to why this isn't possible in which case I apologise for spouting out of my arse about stuff I know nowt about</disclaimer>
