If we really harbour ambition to get promoted it would be good if Leeds won the play offs.

Difficult to want them to win anything though....................

Bristol City tonight - the missus is already planning Wembley, then saying "IF" to avoid arrogance. There's been a few petty arguments. God I hope they lose tonight.

Perhaps I should stop telling her that.... perhaps not.

City will go down easily anyway so i can laugh at them all of next season if they go up and still laugh if they lose so i'm not bothered either way. Plus it's mainly the gas i can't stand.

Fair play to City. Think they'll do the business at AG and get to the final.

Part of me wants City to get promoted because they would get battered in the Premiership.

What if they do a Reading though.

I was on my way to 5 a side on Wednesday night when a lad who is the son of one of my mum's old friends asked if I supported Swindon (I was wearing a Swindon shirt).

"Of course", I says. He then asked if I liked Reading. "I fucking hate them" says I.

I got a bitter "fuck you then" in retort.

I doubt the cunt has ever been to Reading. I'd hate an extra load of plastic cunts jumping on another bandwagon. Where were you when they were shit?

My best mate at school did the opposite. He used to always wear Man U shirts and we used to give him stick as to why he supported Man U. So one year he decided to change his allegiance and picked Reading as his new team. To be fair they were in the bottom league and was when they played at Elm Park and he went to some of their games. We went down to the Majeski when they beat us 2-0. Hopefully after them going down this season and us hopefully gradually on the rise we'll be resuming our trips to Reading and Swindon games in future!

That's the thing though Bob's Orange, I don't really care about their team or their fans in general, just the ones supporting them because they're 'local'.

It's some kind of twisted justification, like the fan who says they support Manchester United because their great uncle supported them, even though they only met their great uncle once or twice. Just admit you support them because they win stuff and I'll leave you alone you glory seeking chump.

I wouldn't worry about Bristol City "doing a Reading" if they go up. For starters Reading broke all records when winning the CCC, whilst City only just managed a positive goal difference.

Watched the first leg in Barcelona with a Palace fan who works over there who has A.D.D.

Was very interesting to say the least.
