started tonight, Southend vs Donny, lots to report so far, there have been some attacking throw ins and goal kicks and Southend have had the average-sized Lion's share of possession.

BRISTOL CITY Current form
Picked up just one win in five, and two in 11.
Lost the last four away from home in all competitions, and not won in six away from Ashton Gate.
COME ON PALACE!

Pretty standard first leg. It's not until the second that it gets good - yet I'm still watching... In fact since I've subscribed to SkySports every game has been shite - yet I still watch :|

Its quite instructive to consider these two sides, both did teh double over us last season, but neither was particularly impressive at the CG, I didn't see the away games, but the scores were close. Neither side has a notable goalscorer, or individual players who seem much coveted by other clubs....both have had long spells being in the doldrums of lower league football. Kind of shows the depths to which we've sunk that we can't really compete with these.

I went to southend but was bladdered and obstructed by random hats so can't really comment on the game. We played ok but had a weak team out due to injuries and suspensions. Got unlucky conceding a pretty decent late goal. The hats made up for it though!

Once I've spent £20 on a match ticket and £4 on one (well, as it turned out, two ) cooked breakfasts I can't afford all that much alcohol!

Hull, Doncaster, Stockport and Cambridge to go up.
I think Shitty will upset the form book and beat Palace for some reason
