"Bloc Party just remind me of a band off University Challenge. Like they’re sitting on a panel” Bloc Party are far better anything Oasis have done ever and especially in the last 8 years or so. Nothing wrong with university challenge though, I'm gonna go on. He's desperately trying to emulate the publicity from the Lurpack interview a few years back, but it's not even close. Liam: "All these slags coming out of the closet at the moment, right... before we go any further, I'm going to shoot me mouth off to them, right... "
Noel senses the danger even before I do. Standing up, he produces a wodge of cash from his trouser pocket. "All that says you'll shut your mouth. Go on, what is there? 85? And a platinum credit card."
Liam: "No, I've got my own, man. Listen, right, all these old farts who get out the day centre, they've got a problem with Oasis. And I ignore all that, right, because I dig their music. But at the end of the day, they all must want a scrap, right, and I will offer them all out, right here on radio. So if you want a fight, right... Primrose Hill, Saturday morning, 12 o'clock. I will be there. I'll beat the fucking living daylight shit out of them. And that goes for George, Jagger, Richards and the other cunt who gives me shit."
Me: "Who's hurt you most out of those?"
Liam: "Oh, fucking hell, it's got to be Jesus Christ, hasn't it? http://www.oa515.com/feature012.htm

Actually they wont be gone ,they'll be sat in a coffee shop spouting yawn inducing intellectual clap trap with the Manics and Radiohead .That cunt from Coldplay will be there to drinking carrot water with Bono and boring any prick who will listen about cancelling world debt whilst his manager transfers his millions into an off shore bank account. Im in a mood cos I have to go to work tonight

oasis always get jealous when new bands come and succeed he knows that no one cares about them anymore! That's why they still manage to sell out gigs of over 60000 capacity I suppose. People need to get off their back a little as far as I'm concerned. I'ts only because of bands like Oasis that many people are into rock music anyway. Also it is remarkable to look at the variety of people at Oasis concerts, from grebos to goths, from pop fans to real indie fans, they're all there, so I'm affraid I have to disagree Rich, people do still very much care about what Oasis have to offer. Lyla will be No. 1, the new album will go straight in at number 1, and anyone who attends an Oasis concert this summer, myself included, will have a damn good time.

Bloc Party are so much better though and they know it.
Oasis have written some great songs but not for a good few years.

Oh, I do like Bloc Party by the way, my rant above was in no way intended to put any other act down, simply to stand up for Oasis.
Cheers, disclaimer over.
