I would expect that to be highly unlikely, I would say its got to be about the same level minimum. |

I would think the bottom half teams in Serie B/top Serie C is the equivalent of L2. |

Not a chance. Serie B is better than League 2 by miles. Even the bottom half of Serie B is still League 1 standard. |

Was this English Championship sides v Serie B sides? From memory the matches were fairly even (I know this was donkey's years ago!)

When we lost to Ascoli in 94, Oliver Bierhoff scored a hat-trick....he then went on to score a brace in the final of Euro 96. Standard of Serie B is generally well above Div 4, but Italian football is experiencing a bit of a slump right now. |
