Listening to timlins interview it sounded like he and kennedy are up for left back
I hope not Timlin did an alright job at left back but against anyone with pace he'll get owned. Not sure about Kennedy tbh

Perhaps we will be playing with 3 centre backs and and no fullbacks just defensive wingers, not even wingbacks?
Could be

Craig Easton has left Southend. Wouldn't mind him back here again. I liked him!

Definitely need 2 striker, even if we go 1 up top at the moment we only have Billy Bodin.
Unless the other trialist (not Knigh/Risser) is a front man. I've lost track!
De Vita's a striker too but agree two more are needed, preferably a bit of experience...

I'd have Easty back in a heartbeat. for me, losing his influence from the dressing room was as big a loss as either Paynter or Greer. A truly unsung hero that would be a real asset in League 2.

Agreed I think Easton was a good player for us and would still be fine at this level

Risser's favoured position is as a holding/defensive mid, so I can see him coming in as a direct replacement for Dougie.
I think we should trial Paris Cowan-Hall, who's just been released by Scunthorpe. Only because I saw his video on YouTube and he looks pretty special. (From his time at Pompey.)
Check the worldy at about 30 seconds!

Always sign Cowan-Hall on FM and he always turns out brilliant. Bit of a gay name though.

Hadn't heard of him before so I checked out the Scunthorpe forum and they know virtually nothing about him either! apparently he just needs his strength building up, gotta be worth a trial.

True, discounted him after the "for the future" comment. Same was said of Austin of course.

Every player we are looking at is or has been a reject from another club at one time or another, and Scunthorpe are still a division above us.
