Things always go wrong when it comes to STFC and transfers. Am I surprised? Not really. Pointless press conference wasn't it to be honest?

Was totally pointless but then every cunt has been moaning he hasn't done anything yet. Î can't help feeling that because the agent was their, dicanio bein late that maybe they had something lined up that fell through.

Yeah quite possibly. Or things are still yet to be signed and delivered etc.

From what i gather the press conference was called to announce a new signing which had agreed to join PDC but then let him down badly at the last minute hence why Timlins contract extension was the only thing to come out of it.

So another day passes with the only news being that Timlin has decided to stay.  Not really what we were all hoping for on the excitement scale.  On the basis that Mr Di Canio has now returned to Italy, I'll be surprised if anything further happens this week.  So far it's not looking like Swindon is tempting enough to bring any of his Italian cronies over.

In hindsight it probably would have been better to call a press conference when somebody was actually en route to the club to sign?!

Yeah, might be worth a look. Shall we call a press conference to announce his non signing?

Talks in this article about players coming from far, far away.

Maybe we're signing a Jedi master.
