Ah the old ''has to be 6ft and strong to play in professional football'' chestnut.

Lovely.

I've heard that why we decided not to buy Messi, too small to be able to cut it as a professional  Doh

I would not be at all surprised if one or two of our poorly performing duds from last season go on to have decent seasons with their new clubs.  There was something systematically wrong with us last year...and very few players played to their potential.  I can see the likes of JPM and Cuthbert doing well, for example.

As for Benyon, he joined a sinking ship.  Not his fault he went down with it.  At some point, we're going to have to stop dismantling and start building the spine of a team.  And I think Benyon would be a good name to have on the teamsheet as a start.  Proven at League 2 level.  What more do we want?

Dont mind Benyon going didnt look all that with us

PDC stated on his arrival that he had a system in mind to play, depending on what that is could influence if Benyon fits in i guess.

A bloke at work who is a Rovers supporter reckons that us / Charlton & Colchester all all after Joe Kuffour.  Probably bullshit though as he'd more likely go to Charlton or Colechester over us.

We are also being linked with ex Arsenal midfielder Mark Randall who has been on loan to Rotherham

Now the Joe Devera deal has been confirmed I've got a Barnet view on their former defender on The Washbag.

He should slot easily into the first team, however I'm already worried about the comments that his distribution is his one key weakness...
