I think its great for us. JP was far from his best last season and with him getting older, can't help thinking he's past his sell by date.

JP was a critical part of our Wembley reaching team. He showed no signs of such form the year before, or the year after.
I'm sad to see him go, but while there are no guarantees as to which JPM we would get next year we know he is capable.
Its one more replacement we need IMHO as while Ritchie and Caddis are good players they are both a bit lightweight, they'll be neutralise (kicked) out of some games.

I'm calm and understand what's happening but Di Canio really needs to do the business in the transfer market. We cannot afford another summer of poor signings because we will go the way of Bradford otherwise.

McGovern is no great loss. He looked unfit last season (although that could have been said about the rest of the team aswell!) and tried too hard at certain times. I lost count the number of times that he played one of those outside of the boot passes straight to the opposition!
