I saw him a few times for Yeading back in the days with DJ Campbell. Never thought either of them had the strength or ability to play any higher than the conference...both proved I'm not the best judge of non league footballers.

Think what he actually said was 'I hope they die of AIDS'? Which if true is a disgrace...as he's completely wrong. What he should of said was I hope AIDS breaks down your immune system and you die of pneumonia or something like that.

First Signing revealed?Huh? York City manager Gary Mills is saying we have signed midfielder Jonathan Smith from York City.

Could mean Timlin is gone then.

A bit of a donkey, but seeing as we need 3 strikers he would do for 3rd/4th choice in League 2. Hopefully any further signings are a bit more exciting than him but we can't expect many quality players to be coming here, so expect a few like Morgan.

Do you expect every player that signs to be a 'fans' player?! Jeremy has said there will be squad signings aswell.

All those bookings and sendings off make him a liability methinks.

I'd have thought so, a good standard, Div 4 proven, target man, just the sort of  thing we need.

I agree with reg

He might even be a better option than a big name.

Sol Campbell springs to mind, look how that went.

I think he'd be a good option.  If Benyon stays a nice big man little man combo who have both scored goals in div 4.

However Im sure its not the signing that Wray was referring to when he said it was someone who will catch the fans imagination.  He's not completely out of touch, he knows that is not the marquee signing to sell more tickets.
