Frampton released from Millwall, along with Danny Schofield and Ashley Grimes

Schofield is a handy player but I expect he will join a League 1 club, and Grimes was very good on loan at Lincoln this season.

Not sure if I would want Frampton back, he would do a decent enough job in the basement but him and Cuthbert were a bit of a comedy duo at times this season.

Urgh, if I ever see Framps again it'll be too soon. Grimes know how to score in that league and McGleish has always caused problems.

Schofield's an Oxford lad isn't he? could come back west, would be a great solution to our RM issue. Grimes was very hot and cold at Lincoln, worked really well with Facey, but then the Facey got injured and Grimes stopped scoring, hence their terrible run to the end of the season

Grimes did well for Lincoln but when he played for us a few times under Sturrock he looke dlike a lost child.

But 16 goals in 21 games isnt to be sniffed at.

I think we should be trying to get McGleish and Reid in if we could - both could do well for us in league 2 and lets not forget that unless we are putting our faith in youth, we are in need of 3 strikers.  We'd need a target man too though.

Schofield would be a decent signing.

Martin Devaney released by Barnsley. Would still be a very good winger for League 2.

My Ipswich supporting friend suggests Jamie Peters may be released by them. Definitely worth a look at for L2 level.

Realistically no-one is being looked at until the new manager is in are they so this is all spurious speculation.

Mind you thats what this thread is for isn't it.
