Is he changing his name and coming on to the pitch in Roman battle gear next season then?
And I guess Flint will be dressed as the Jolly Green Giant?

Would take Sheehan over Rose - happily let Lex & Rose leave, but would like to keep hold of Sheehan

Lescinel is a better left back than Rose and Sheehan and it isn't even his best position. He's one of the first we should be signing up on a new contract, fuck waiting for the new manager.

He really isn't. He gets mullered on the left whenever anyone good comes along.

But I have been very impressed with him a centre back since he came back into the fold.

You could both be right. he may well get mullered occasionally but is still better than Rose or Sheehan. Rose is so lightweight he can easily get knocked off the ball and his positional play is woeful. Sheehan not so lightweight or positionally inept ( probably the beer ) but is piss easy to beat with pace or skill - as is Rose. JFL is positionally inept but is good against pace, not so good against skill and is by no means a lightweight. Regardless I'd start with Kennedy with JFL as back up after giving JFL a new contract and playing centre half where he has looked a million times better than Cuthbert - including today.

Cuthbert has either lost all interest and is on the way, or his confidence is shot to pieces. He looked bloody good last year, really disappointing this. I suppose that's true of a lot of players.

Rose and Sheehan are shit. I'd prefer Kennedy to them any day of the week.

LJF has been our best centre back recently, but he hasn't been playing as well as he can. Though I guess the confidence of every player has taken a massive knock over the last few months and affected their game.

This!

Lecs is a CB and a CB only on past appearances.  Sheehan is better than Rose but not comitted so fuck him off.  Rose isn't as bad as everyone makes out because he likes to give some attitude back, but also he isn't the best left back in the world.  Kennedy get's let off because he is home grown but has done nothing to prove that he is capable of having enough quality to be our regular left back all season.

We could do with a new LB IMO.

We had 7 players on the books who could play left back this year. I suppose another wouldn't do any harm.

I saw Kennedy playing for Rotherham against Chesterfield....he was woeful, and taken off at half time...not appeared since, so may have been injured...which happens a lot to him, probably not strong enough to make it sadly.

I don't think Kennedy has ever put in a bad performance for us... wouldn't mind him having a prolonged run in the side

I have seen Cal play for the stiffs about 10 times and he has never impressed me at all, his ball delivery from crosses isnt too bad but lacks stamina and needs to be built up as hes too lightweight, another one that will fail to meet his early promise I feel.

Kennedy is not the back up option for Rose next season, he isnt good enough in my opinion.

Will be interesting to see if next season we go for a smaller squad of quality given the smaller budget or a bigger squad with more cover of lesser players.

Remember him having a shocker at Yeovil 2 seasons back, then again so did the rest of our team.
