I was going to post exactly the same, that has made my waivering mind up if true!

Who do you expect to get as a manager?  Trollope has got a side promoted from Div 4, he's also won more games in his career than Hart.

The chances are we wont get a name...although Trollope is  retread he's also young for a manager, and hopefully will have learnt from his time at Rovers, and not be too much a cynical old lag.

No season ticket for me if that comes about!

Me neither. I was hoping Jose Mourinho was going to take the job. Oh well.

Some but probably not as much as he'd have here.

Just don't rate him Reg, would have taken Wison over Trollope in Lge2.

Oh and not expecting Mourinho IOB, Johnson would have done for me.

Trollope will struggle, as happened as soon as Lennie Lawrence was given his marching orders.

Gary Neville, I reckon he could be good, but he's unlikely to drop to Div 4, even to start his managerial career (we'd get good loans though).

It would be good to get a ex-player in, but i don't reckon they've got the appetite for it these days. They're all too busy being shite pundits, wailing on their wives, counting their money or making endless snide comments about Liverpool.

I mean, why the fuck is Cantona bothering with the NY Cosmos when he could become our manager, with Moncur as his assistant.  Cheesy

Season tickets sales would soar, like seagulls following some kind of trawler...

If I was a football club chairman I would definitely appoint whoever (within reason) was the fans' favourite (Gary Johnson on this occasion). First of all, there's every chance he would do just as well as your choice of manager who you might have spent weeks identifying and interviewing and long listing and short listing. And if he's crap, you can say to the fans, "fuck off...you wanted him, you got him"

It's a win/win situation Cool

With the exception of the fact that you have to explain that logic to the board who've collectively invested millions in the club...

Surely Gary Johnson cannot be a serious contender.  He’s the poor man’s Andy King.
I’d take back the poison dwarf, Dennis Wise for another assault at league two failing that throw a few quid at the Italian midget Di Matteo .

I'm not so sure Wise would be any good with out Poyet, there is a reason he hasn't got another managers job, I dont think Di Matteo would drop to L2 though

Rumours down here that Exeter want Ritchie to replace Harley. Would he go? Would we sell him?
