Two absolute giants by the sounds of it. Andrew is a target man from what I can remember when he was at Luton and N'Diaye is a utilty man.

Gives us that height at defending set pieces and also at the other end.

Both sound the sort of player we need, big strong and battling, as long as neither of them are shot shy.

Indeed. If we're going to have to fight tooth and nail for every point the rest of the season, a bit of size in midfield certainly won't go amiss. Don't know what his game's like but N'Diaye at least looks like a bit of unit!

Andrew has 8 goals in 126 league games. Not exactly awe inspiring.

63 of those games were as a sub though, but yes not awe inspiring stats by any means , but as long as he he puts in more of a shift than the likes of Slabber, Nouble, Hutchinson and Obika he could do well.

I guess Andrew will be the big lump to hold the ball up and Benyon to finish off his hard work.

N'Diaye will offer steel in midfield. A bit of fight is what we need.

I really dont understand all this criticism of Douglas. Maybe he hasn't been as influential this season as he was last, but I dont think all of that is down to him, a lot is to do with the other players movement off the ball. Last season, we always had full backs comfortable on the ball and Charlie & Billy working the channels, this season, our front players have either not been doing that (eg Pericard, not really his game) or just been a bit shit at getting the ball and keeping it (eg Dossevi). Douglas still to me looks a class above most other players when he has the ball, even though he gets less time on the ball than anyone else because the opposition always close him down now to try to stop him playing. He is the only town player who will receive the ball to feet whilst being marked and still retain possession. Without him, we would be left with utter shite in the midfield.

Although Douglas isn't playing as well as he has been, he's still head and shoulders above most of our other players week in, week out.

I just think he needs a kick up the backside. Is he the only player that has started everygame albeit when suspended?

If the rumours are true, then we don't need another defensive midfielder.

Do not understand that, most reliable midfielder we have, not as good this season as last, but still head and shoulders above the rest.

can't believe anyone would advocate leaving douglas out, as has been said above, he is a class above. whereas prutton runs around looking like a footballer without actually doing anything
