These are the strikers we've signed in January since the transfer window was bought in:
2010 - Pericard 2009 - Razak 2008 - Ashikodi (loan), Cox 2006 - Peacock, Benjamin (loan) 2004 - Slabber (loan)
fucking slim pickings, eh? Bearing in mind Cox was a loan deal made permanent, there's about half a dozen goals between the rest of them

kate cady sent home according to adver so no medicals can be done, unless they've either already been done or won't be done until later they must be suicidal on the Adver forum now. At least we still got Big Vince

She's a physio though isn't she, not a doctor. Surely a doctor would do the medicals??

As much as we're generally more balanced than the Adver forum, if our strikers tomorrow are Pericard, Dossevi, Pericard and Pavett, there will be blood on the carpet here.

He's twice the player of the others. But obviously that was meant to say Bodin.

If you were signing a striker on deadline day, or knew that striker 'x' was coming in for talks (as benyon may well be), wouldn't you have sorted out the medical before, maybe on the Sunday, so that the stuff that takes the time (the contract negotiatons) can be focussed on on Monday, so you actually have until 11pm and not 9pm + medical?
My money is that Benyon, or anybody else we might be interested in, has had their medical, or it's loans and we don't bother with a medical, or Kate Cady has actually popped out for a Wimpy.

Not that I'm bored or anything... Pericard - 6 goals in 40 appearances - 6.6 games per goal Razak - 0 goals in 3 appearances - 0 games per goal Ashikodi - 0 goals in 10 appearances - 0 games per goal Cox - 48 goals in 88 appearances - 2.1 games per goal Peacock - 21 goals in 138 appearances - 6.5 games per goal Benjamin - 2 goals in 8 appearances - 4 games per goal Slabber - 0 goals in 10 appearances - 0 games per goal Hands up who thought Benjamin would be the second most prolific of our January strikers? where's that statto/wrist slash smiley gone?

Good work SY....But for Benji we'd have lost 7-0 at Forest rather than 7-1. It would be a bit of a surprise if we actually signed someone, other than on loan, and given there's not a deadline for that, I'd have thought we'd wait for the dust to settle.
