Ah that's why he went to Burnley, he's opening the closet. That must be the rumour.

I like the idea of a no nonsense defender, but when asked if he liked the style of playing good passing football on the ground, his answer was just "No I like to get rid of it" it brought back horrible flashbacks of Ifil with his amazing *cough* distribution from the back!

 Doh Oh no...

Just watched the Aden Flint interview on player....is it too early to vote for him being one of the thickest players in our history or do I have to put the shrug more than talk attitude down to his relative young age?  I like the idea of a no nonsense defender, but when asked if he liked the style of playing good passing football on the ground, his answer was just "No I like to get rid of it" it brought back horrible flashbacks of Ifil with his amazing *cough* distribution from the back!

Damn right to, he's a league one defender, not Beckenbauer. Row z Mr Morrison take note.

Depends if it all got registered in time, judging by the timing I'd say no. Plus he wouldn't have a fucking clue what was going on. Not that the rest do anyway at the mo.
i thought the window for registration was normally midnight before a game?

Ruben Reid to Oldham, Rory Loy to Carlisle, Shefki Kuqi and Afobe to Huddersfield, Rene Howe to Bristol Rovers

A lot of strikers seems to move to League One-clubs, but no one seems to want to play for Danny Wilson... I am questioning his scouting network. Anyone know how the Swindon scouting network is organized? Is it just the old man Ken Ryder sitting at his office watching VHS-tapes?
There waqs an article on Points West a couple of weeks ago, which should how many scouts each of the local teams had. Chelters and Brovers had about 2 each while Swindon had 18!

Reuben Reid to Oldham for free!!! Wasn't that the lad that was always scoring with le fondre in league two? Why we didnt go for him i have no idea.

I hope to hear after the game today that Wilson is signing a forward before deadline and not going to wait for loans and let these next three or four games pass us by.

I think we already know what you'll hear after the game from Danny though don't we?

Hopefully it's describing Dossevi's perfect hat trick by saying 'we always knew he had it in him'.

He also got 3 in 18 for Walsall this season. And if you put that one season at Rotherham down to good fortune I don't think he's scored more than 3 or 4 a season anywhere, which isn't quite so impressive.

Fjørtoft didn't score until january, when the ketchup effect really set in. Maybe Dossevi also need half a year?!  Hmmm

This is a bit "in-depth" from the shite rumour site but sounds a lot to happen in about 2 and a half days!!

Swindon Town want to sign AFC Wimbledon's prolific striker Danny Kedwell.

Vince Pericard leaving for Le Havre on a free, with Thomas Dossevi told to 'hit the ground running' or he faces being sold in May. Hamilton are interested in him.

Paul Parry and Paul Hayes transfers are 50/ 50 as Michael Timlin would have to agree to a permanent switch to Southend for Parry to sign, whilst Hayes is unsure as to moving his family south to Wiltshire.

Swindon also considering moves for Gavin Rae, if Prutton moves to Brighton (likely as he hates Danny Wilson), Gary Harkins or Joe Mason (if O'Brien moves), Rhys Weston (if LJF moves), Paul Quinn (loan deal if Amankwaah moves) and Jordan Howells (Luton) and Seb Brown (AFC Wimbledon).

This MAY give Swindon a chance of staying up

If that's not true, somebody has way too much time on their hands.
