It's really depressing that there isn't. We know Fitton likes to keep his chests to his card but at the moment the most realistic rumour we have is a permanent signing of Frampton. Who's not entirely fit.

Yay.

He has learnt from going public in on potential deals in the past only for it to backfire.  For all we know there could be 3 or 4 deals just a matter of days from completion.

Although probably not!

Its very rare if transfers come out before actually completed.

How about an audacious swoop for Kevin Phillips as a player coach to coach the strikers - perhaps Birmingham will help towards his wages he wants to play first team football, I'm sure he's still got it to score and would give the phole place a big boost

Or maybe bring back Fallon - if the lord tells him it is the right move to make

not a rumour in the slightest, but if charlie does go and we have some money to reinvest, one player id like to see at the club is dean cox. thought he was brilliant for orient at home this year and away last year

Karl Hawley being linked to us until the end of the season by County fans. I reckon that's just a rehash of the last time he was linked

If we're bringing in players who can't and couldn't get a game at Notts County, even when they were in L2, we're in a whole world of pain.

Been saying it for ages, if there ever was to be a management position available, i'd love itg to go to a young, hungry recently retired or close-to-retiring player in a player-management or coaching role. Worked well with Wise. And just look at what Howe did at Bournemouth.

Phillips would be good, but i'd rather someone like Teddy Sheringham. Hugely intelligent man.

Yep!

we need to get players from championship clubs who have the experience we need, players like Greer/Lucas/Douglass who all had played in championship and had experience

Young...Hungry...Recently retired...Intelligent...

This sounds like the checklist that hired Malpas.

Malpas must have had one hell of a paper round, he looked at least 45 when he came down here! Not sure you could say he was young or just retired seeing as he stopped playing aged 37/38 in 2000!

I would imagine that we're still not paying agents fees so sadly you can write off any decent name old or young!

Total bollocks, we pay Agent's Fees. We try and avoid them sure, but that report that came out definitely showed us paying some...I'll try and dig it up.

Edit: http://www.football-league.co.uk/staticFiles/a5/3c/0,,10794~146597,00.pdf £36k. Fairly low but while a fair proportion of League Clubs didn't pay a penny, we did.
