Collins was a rock for the short time he was with us on loan. Good enough for Wilson to take him to Hartlepool at the time permanantly (assuming he was manager there at the time). More Heywood no-nonsense than Greer, and in my opinion a bit of a step down from Greer.

There's not a massively long list of players that do, assuming we're looking for championship centre halves, late 20's and older, who made the bench but didn't play last weekend, we're looking at one of: Alex Bruce or Leigh Bromby from Leeds Paul Quinn or Anthony Gerrard from Cardiff Louis Carey from the slave traders Peter Ramage at QPR McPake at Coventry Mkindawotsit or our old boy Jack Smith at Millwall I'd like Bromby given the choice. |
