This prutton/rose should sign by the end of next week thing seems unlikely. Hope nothing has gone wrong with the deals and they are just waiting till next week when they actually join on the 1st July.
When does preseason start for our lads?

Apparently Peterborough are looking to sign Simon Cox from West Brom? Not sure if this article is linked in, doesn't name Cox but he would cost a lot, be a big signing and is a forward and proven at this level. I would think if moving he would prefer a move back here but who knows? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/peterborough_united/8758013.stm

Peterborough have hardly spent any money in the last two years, as their Chairman's money is tied in Spanish timeshare, which has not been doing very well due to the credit crunch. In fact they had the smallest budget in the Championship last season, even lower than Scunthorpe's, because of this reason.

Pub manager at work said that Posh were linked with Cox. I cant find anything online though apart from the Beeb Story.

Cox would not drop back to L1 I'm sure he would want another shot at the championship if he was to leave WBA
