If prutton wants to play footy we'd be better than colchester, Brighton have money though, guess depends how strong that leeds connection is. I think him and Dougie would be a great centre midfield, bring it on

Prutton would be a great signing, surprised we didn't make a move for him when Leeds released him.
Good chance of getting him if Brighton and Colchester are the clubs we're up against.

During his Nottingham Forest days Prutton was a major England prospect for the future. Then the move to Southampton ruined him thanks to his own discipline (remember when he went mental at an official?)
He's now a League One player but him and Douglas reunited? That would be good. I can understand why Colchester's chairman suspended contract offers but I would have been keen to secure his services because it was quite an impressive signing.
However, I imagine Sky Sports have simply added our name to the ever-growing list of admirers.
