we need two more for sure, one 'big' buy, probably one loan. paynter has done more than enough to ensure he is in the first eleven for me so we need to find someone to play along side him.

paynter will get another 15ish goals next term so if we get someone in the 15-20 bracket up there with him we'll be fine, more than fine really as i really think goals are going to come from more players and our defence will probably be the envy of a few L1 clubs.

we do not need to replace all coxy's goals with strikers with the defence we now have.

macklin will prove to be able back up i'm sure so if you think we need four strikers then count him as one.

they know what they're doing and while strikers are the glamour players it's a team that earns success and DW knows it

We have a fella on trial from Cypriot club Olympiakos in case this hasn't been mentioned. 20 year old fella according to DW.

Is someone at the club taking the piss out of the Adver ? they have posted the Cypriot player on trial is called Panikos Efthymiades , looking on wikipedia they do not have a current player called that but they did have a prolific striker in the 60's and 70's when they won the league called that.

I think the bloke from Cyprus is not a striker but a left back

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christos_Efthymiou

Cyprus U21 international, I am sure Fitton said we were getting a left back in on trial this week from a foreign team.

I recon someone read my post and dyslexiad it accross to the adver site Cheesy

Do they need any more strikers at the Udders?Huh? too many can be almost as bad as not enough vying for the shirt/s.

If you take Jevons and Parker (Now at Oldham) out of the equation, they were left with 3,one of
which is a young player (Novak). So you can see Clark's reasoning.

Rhodes is a good striker and according to the Ipswich forums the fee was only £150k which we could easily have afforded, but I guess we may not be able to match the wages on offer at Udders.

It's been reported on other Ipswich forums that there will be add-ons.150K basic fee.I'm sure
Hudders offer good wages, which will appeal to a lot of players and their reps  Wink

Rumours that Rhodes original club Barnsley trying to hijack the deal. Now wouldn't that be sweet.

Looks like Keane wants Priskin (Watford) as Rhodes replacement for the Tractor Boys.

True - but he didn't score for them....henceforth he didn't play his best...henceforth he must be a Swindon fan Cheesy

Even though he played for the Yellow mob i always liked Mark Jones in the 80's, thought he
was a good Macari signing. As a Abingdon boy, perhaps he was also a closet Town fan  Smiley

Swindon Town, Brighton and Notts County are also known to be monitoring Sharp's situation.
