A co-worker who supports Bristol City says we have offered £300,000 for Lee Trundle. I think its rubbish and don’t know if he would do a job here anyway. I did laugh.

Doubt it as we seem to be lookign at pacey strikers...something which Trundle has never had in his life.

I did hear a little rumour that Wilson is interested in the cunt that is Leroy Lita probably complete bullshit but if it were true how do you think siging him would go down with fans for me I dont really care about past clubs (except for when we signed Joey the Cunt Beachump that is ) and think it would be another inspired signing.

Sheffield United/Uddersfield/Norwich and apparently Swansea are all after Lita.

add to that

Quote
After being released by the club at the end of last season the 24-year-old is looking for a new club and there has been reported interest from Premiership newboys Burnley, Stoke City and Championship sides West Newcastle United and West Bromich Albion.

Lita - No chance the guys will drop out of the championship.
Trundle - Would not take much of a transfer fee as they want rid, its the wages that would be a problem. I have to say if we could get rid of peacock and have Paynter and Trundle with two pacy strikers in the squad to partner them with i'd be happy.

I don't know, anything maybe possible now,I have to admit i did't think we would get douglas, but it looks like fitton and co are doing a grand job of selling us to potential player's.

The douglas capture will no doubt make potential targets come down and at least have a chat.

I heard a rumour we are looking at a youngster from Tranmere, Terry Gornell a 20 year old striker who has attracted interest from Premier League teams, Shirtliff is known to be a big admirer of him.

Sam Parkin anyone?

If you're going to take a punt may as well take a decent gamble.  As my old Nan used to say if you're going to stick it in son go on up to the balls and don't fanny around.  Or was that around the fanny I can never remember.
