Trundle is on his way to Tranmere.
John Barnes and an ageing, egotistical lower league forward - I'm sure the pessimists at Tranmere can't wait

I hold Toumani Diagouraga in high regard as he was one of the only players who managed to applaud the fans after getting relegated at Bristol City. Not that it was the other players fault that they couldn't but you know.

I watched Lee Trundle play as a wide left forward against our reserves towards the end of last season and he couldnt even get past young Nathan Thompson. He was getting well pissed off

I know this is for another club, but it is transfer rumour related so I'm sticking it in here.
Since when have Walsall come into so much money / been so deluded? According to a few people on Football Forums, they're after the following:
Robbie Savage - loan from Derby Danny Mills - loan from Man City Nuno Valente - talks broke down due to wage demands [No shit!] DJ Campbell - £100k

They seem sure that they are bringing in Benito Carbone too.

I would argue that he wouldn't be the greatest buy either His Non-League stats are impressive but his football league states are not.

They look to be doing what I do on Football Manager; look at the list of available players and think 'ooh, I've heard of him, he's old and decrepid but I've heard of him so he must be good!'.

And then fuck the wage bill by offering them huge amounts to sign on for you....mmmmm it does sound like Luton!
