Nice bit of work if true.  Anyone when the FA exit trials are/were this year?

Southend fans seem really pissed off by this but some still seem to think he'll go to them?

It appears that we're in the market to piss off a few sets of fans this year - excellent work Mr Wilson & board!

I quite like pissing off southend fans, ideas way above their station.

Above their station indeed. I like the Shrimpernet comments about being "unable to compete with the likes of Swindon and Brighton".

They are only Southend for f**** sake.  They should be surprised and happy to be competing at the same level as us.

Hope the BBC have got the edge over the Adver and the deal is done, and will be signed when he is back from Holiday. However i guess if that were the case the official website would have announced it?

Perfection is not attainable

The Hornets fans on their forum are split 50-50 on his ability, some saying hes not been tested fully at their level but that hes certainly good enough for Div 1 and is one for the future.

An unpolished diamond, bags of pace and finishing abilty.

Sounds worth a gamble but the figures I have read elsewhere seem to be £100k plus clauses, £275k seems a bit steep.

Sounds similar to Simon Cox scenario, untested at Championship level, one for the future etc...

I wonder if this means a deal for Cox is imminent?

Seems the brighton paper reckons he is joining us, so job done! Will certainly be good to have a forward with some real pace.
