Nah, the Terras are Weymouth, so it was Weymouth that blocked the move. Marshall turned them down flat.

Seems even more surprising that Weymouth blocked the move,cos they've got huge financial problems
and those 2 players would be quite high earners.Beavon is pretty useful in the Blue Square Premiership.
Marshall has only been on the bench and therefore behind Macklin in the pecking order,would have been
a good move i would have thought.

Wonder why Marshall's staying here, does he reckon he can get into the team or were Bournemouth just not paying as much?

Interesting one, doesn't say if it was a loan or sale. I don't really feel he's had the chance, but I'd rather see that chance given to Macklin and they play the same position I suppose.
It was a loan. And that other name that was briefly bandied about - Darren Purse - is apparently going to Norwich, if Cardiff let him go. Was in the squad for Coventry last night. |
