I’m focussing on the fact that Holloway got results last year and seems to know what he’s doing. I’m worried about some of his tactics, but, we don’t seem to need much of a midfield in L2!

You get ‘passion’ with Holloway. I don’t believe he is a ‘crony’ per se. I think he gets his way (to a degree) with Clem, as he is the only one who understands football. I suspect the club is getting much more than it could afford to pay for with Holloway.

As for his outburst at fans. Most have been justified. Some have been heat of the moment, which is what you get from him. Rather have that than some of the dross we’ve had in the past.

I don't like the bloke and what he stands for. It's hard to argue with him though whilst he's getting results.

I've mentioned it once before on here, but he pulled me from hospitality last season and I spent 15 minutes in an office with him going back and forth. He just doesn't get it at all. Our fans point of view. No matter how simply I tried to explain it. Bloke is an absolute nutcase.

He can't wait to take a swipe at us. Has to be pushed to thank our travelling support. I can see why Grimsby turned on him towards the end.

It's such a shame, because it really doesn't have to be like this. The fans WANT to like him. Why not just like us back? it's not difficult is it!

Which suggests he reads this forum. If you do Ian, I’m a fan of your work. I think most are. But please, please remember that every comment you see on here is laced with years and years of being treated like shit by a pound shop criminal underworld.
