Quite liked Sobowale but it is was fairly clear Holloway wasn't keen so no surprise. So who will fill in at RB while McGregor is out? Snowdon?

Perfection is not attainable

I think you and i both predicted his exit, so this was very much expected. Also creates room for other recuitment.
We did back in May, I think he has potential but without the ability to follow orders he was never going to get regular game time with us, a move will suit both parties.

Absolutely between those 2 yes, Snowdon being a way more attacking option though more winger than wingback.

No mention of a fee so I suppose it’s a contract termination?

Was top of my list of expected outgoings from the contracted players this summer.

Nothing against him, seems a nice guy and hope he does well in Scotland. Needs to start regularly at his age and won’t get it here.

Butterworth the other one who I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to depart for similar reasons.

The Moonraker article mentioned Snowdon has impressed in the RWB role, perhaps it’s Snowdon vs McGregor for the spot this season.

Sobowale off to St Mirren

Not surprised, good luck to Tunmise. No. 2 shirt up for grabs?

Strange one, wouldn't have been at all surprised to see him leave a month ago but all the mood music since then has been positive. Neither here nor there one, wouldn't have minded him staying at all but don't think it's a huge loss either.

Pre Holloway he got a lot of MOTM votes in bad sides. Clearly not quite what Holloway was looking for but we've had much worse.

Sobowale's pace was useful in playing a high line, but he would on occasions switch off. I think his downfall was his lack of beating his marker to put in a cross.  He would always check inside slowing the attack in the manner of Tyrese Shade.  Smudger, Tabor and co. need the ball played in front of them with a retreating defense.  That requires pace and first-time crossing ability to consistently make assists.

Perhaps it was the inability to follow instructions that made Sobowale stand out as one of our best players under Kennedy.

I liked him, but trust Holloway to get it right.

I liked him too, he had several MotM awards earlier on last season IIRC.  St. Mirren are no mugs good luck to him, but Holloway wants something different, apparently.

Fine with this, as long as he's replaced by an actual right back.

We can't go into the season with an injured McGregor and Snowdon who's a midfielder
