Finley Munroe, may or may not be the loan left back signing.

This goes against Holloway's stated reason for bringing someone in in that position, that being that both his options currently are youngsters and he'd like to have a bit of experience there.

A 20 yr old with one season in a Spanish semi pro league doesn't scream experience really.

Seems to be highly rated at Villa, Ashley Cole wanted Chelsea to offer him a scholarship which speaks volumes. Looks to have a handy first time cross on him based of the Youtube clips. Hopefully him and Kirkman can push each other for the LWB spot.

Every single player we've ever signed on loan has been 'highly rated' by their parent club. I'm not saying he won't be good....he may well be very good and I hope he is.

Just saying...'highly rated' as such doesn't mean much. I seem to remember McGurk being highly rated by Leeds fans...and no doubt by the Club themselves...

They’ve also played him in the PL + Conference League for a few minutes. McGurk for example didn’t get a sniff at any Leeds United squads even in the cup games. If your get a few mins in the PL at 19 then I think you are one of the highest rated Academy lads at that club.

That's good to hear but most importantly, Holloway rates him so that will do for me😉

Indeed...there's a disconnect somewhere along the line, hence he is now a National League North player. Hopefully the switch comes on before it's too late...

Who is the 'very well known player' listed in the Adver? (12ft.io not working for me)

https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/25310836.very-well-known-player-go-trial-swindon-town/

(Is it Enda Stevens who was mentioned a couple of pages ago? If so, I'd never heard of him)

A "very well know player" coming on trial then (proab
Attacking player with experience in top flight and abroad it mentions in the article

In fairness its behind a paywall and not everyone knows how to read it.

This trialist is an attacking player with experience at the top of English football, as well as abroad, and the trial will help both sides see whether it would be the right fit.

So we have:
- Finlay Munroe LB (advanced stages of a loan)
- Cerny Ando CB/DM (week trial as he play well for trialists gainst us and heads the ball well)
- An attacking player with experience at the top of English football, as well as abroad (The trial will help both sides see whether it would be the right fit).

Scott Sinclair, if you count Celtic as “abroad”.

There were rumours about Scott Sinclair at the end on last season.

He has been linked previously, I think he will likely get a higher league club than us TBH.
