Could be looking at a Kirkman, Wright and Mabete back 3 next season?
Delaney and Minturn as backups. Clarke and Ball can fill in. Even Sobowale.
Would still like to see a 'marquee' centre back sign. Somebody who isn't Injury prone, but also has lots of EFL games under their belt.

They’ve done quick business so far and you’d hope that sorts depth. I’d like to see some top tier ‘blow your socks off’ type signings before the end of the window now. Also Wright and Smith ext…I don’t ask much

Covering all bases with this comment. The word at the end of last season was Delaney was one of a few that Holloway was frustrated at being under contract for this year. He would have liked to move him on, along with Sobowale and Butterworth. |
