You'd imagine, if indeed he is interested in still playing football that Uwakwe may be open to a mutual termination of his contract?

Why would he want to terminate his contract when no clubs are interested, when he can get a steady pay check till the end of the season. He ain't going anywhere.

He would get a pay off, then he might have some interest because he would be cheaper.

We don't KNOW no clubs are interested. We could have had offers whereby clubs will take him but won't pay some or all of his wages. I suspect he probably will sit out the rest of the season picking up his wages at STFC, but he also has a proactive opportunity to cut his losses here and attempt to rekindle a career elsewhere. I totally understand he probably won't, but it is an option nonetheless.

It must be hard as a lower league professional when options becoming limited if at all. Do you start to seek other employment and maybe play much further down the pyramid as a side hustle or stick in there and hope agents come calling.

Wasn’t that the one that Holloway was alluding to in his pre match presser on Thursday? Basically saying we’ll know how fit he is after the running test.

Talk about the summer makes me hope Holloway has agreed to stay on. I assume the club would announce as part of the season ticket renewals stuff.

I'm so worried were sign him and flog Wright to pay for the bills for a month. We have to keep Wright if we want to progress next season.
