2 'attacking players' are on trial, with another due in today, i think.

Due in for Trial. I *believe* that Holloway wants to sign the triallists but we need to shuffle the pack before he can bring anyone in.

With the addition of the youngsters into the squad now, the size of our squad must be 30+ players surely, at least a few of the young lads have gone out to non league loans.
I suppose previously it was probably the role of DoF to try and get players out get their name circulated, as well as their agent, wonder how many need to leave for us to be able to sign another 2 or 3 ?

Moonraker confirmed the Salford interest in Longelo. Article also mentioned an experienced GK still on the list for us.

Longelo is probably in that sweet spot of "good enough to get a move he'd be interested in, but not key enough for us to be really gutted to lose" so that would make sense.

Longelo has not really settled in Swindon so a move back to Manchester where he is based would be ideal, should be a decent fee involved too and a fair wage off the budget.
Theres a player in there but he hasnt done it consistantly enough and I dont think Ollie fancies him in the team anyway.
Winner all round.

We also have more than one that can cover his position. If he goes & Barden goes back to Norwich & we can sign a GK and one other than it makes some sense. Would rather get rid of some of the dead weight than him, but I guess nobody is going to sign Uwakwe & co when they can sign them for free in the summer

I agree, would be good to keep back up LB but bearing in mind we can't shift Uwakwe and Cain and are working on 1 in 1 out you have to get rid of players you can shift that aren't detrimental to the team.

Not sure you can really consider him in the LB role anymore considering how many times Holloway has said he sees himself as a right winger.
As others say he's done ok but not stood out so I would be gutted to lose him but if Holloway is looking to change the shape to have wingers again instead of only wing backs surely it's easier to only look for one rather than two.

Under this ownership i wouldn't expect anything less but to sell him. Yes he's not starting eleven but in an ideal world he's the sort of player you want for depth.

Sean Morrison still a free agent I believe. Not that I want to clamour for ex players but just seems a Holloway type!
