Let's hope we keep them long enough to keep us up and they are as good. I know you want to be positive adje but there is nothing to suggest we will get as good this time around. Our midfield already looks wrse than last season along with our full backs so they really need to be some good signings for us to have a good season.

What worries me is because of such a bad season season last year many will take mid table as a good season now

This is where clubs stagnate, their standards dwindled time and time again to lower than they should be. Imagine previously suggesting a mid table league two season would be anything other than a disaster.

I get people want to remain positive (this isn’t directed at original poster to your reply, more in general) but the more we let our standards and expectations drop as a fanbase, the closer we move towards bottom half league two mediocrity, if we arent there already.

Dworzak loaned to Supermarine

I know he's had a tough time with illness but if he's not getting a better move than Supermarine as a second year pro that's a fairly concerning outlook for his career.

We all know he won’t be here in the summer.
We loan so many players to Supermarine & it’s very rarely the springboard to their pro career.

If Supermarine are taking on his entire wages as well - that’s not exactly going to free up a vast amount to bring someone else in + it’s only a month….

Even the most recent success stories in Twine & Minturn if you count both as recent (debatable on Twine) & a success (debatable on Minturn) they never went to Supermarine but both went to Chippenham.

Coincidentally just for some added depression. Twine now had 10 goals in the second tier. Our last 10 goals in the second tier were scored by; Hay, Gray, Grazioli, Griffin, Grazioli, Gray, Grazioli, J.Williams, Grazioli & Grazioli.

If you go last 10 goal scorers - it’s Grazioli, J.Williams, Gray, Griffin, Hay, A.Williams, Kiely (og), Collins, Hall & Reeeeeeeves.

Twine was 10 months old when Graz scored our last second tier goal.

I think two, but the club aren't always clear on these things.

I get the impression this seasons transfer strategy has been based mainly on season ticket renewals. The money for signings has now dried up. It feels like last season and I feel like a mug .

Exactly this. They did all the business pre ST renewals to con people.

Ashamed I fell for it- won’t again. Let’s hope these owners are long gone by next season.

The presser bit about McGurk was a bit confusing. It sounded like he wants out reading between the lines. (He's probably just injired/ill but it sounds odd)

Yeah that was odd, something about him being injured or not?

Well fucking odd.
Surely even in our shambolic state the manager should know whether a player is actually physically injured or not - would be a bit different if we are talking mental health (which hasn’t been mentioned so we will all assume not)
