So we signed King to give us wingback cover, and now we have signed another to give us wingback cover!

I assume he is super cheap.

Sign the fucking creative players we need please!

Well yeah - King for the right side, Kirkman for the left side.

McGregor was expected to be competing for that position, he is now 5th choice, not great for the development of a talented town youth. We did not need all these players. We do need them elsewhere. As long as we sign players for the need positions its no problem, but wasting funds on Kirkman is a mistake otherwise.

I thought McGregor looked really good back end of last season.

He’ll be 3rd choice RWB. Can hopefully get him out on a decent loan.

We are clearly going at least x2 for every defensive position so x6 CBs & x4 WBs at least.

Agreed 100%

The one player (most hopeful anyway) on the first team pathway (McGregor) now down to fifth choice seems mad to me. How are we supposed to develop our own players if we keep signing players ahead of them.

Still, keeps Gunning in a job i suppose (he’s really important to the football club dont you know)

A deal was agreed weeks ago but TNS wanted a compensation fee for him due to his age and being a 1st team squad member there, the compensation has now been settled hence he has signed.

He will not be classed as a 1st team player but is hoping to break through into the 1st team squad, may even be loaned out early on to get game time.

We’re really padding out this squad without addressing actual needs.

Twelve professional defenders in the squad now, and that's not counting Uwakwe as one. Arguably 13 players for 5 positions.

Seems odd seeing as they fucked him off out on loan the last two seasons

I mean compensation may just be a sell on %, rather than actual cash up front I suppose. Could have all gone a bit Sebastian Ruster otherwise.
