10 MCs of which we'd be happy to see at best half of them in the first team isn't brilliant.

Uwakwe did play WBL in all his appearances last season, and Cain played there vs Wycombe, for the tiny amount that is worth.

10 MC's
Ofoborh, Cotterill, Clarke, McGurk, Uwakwe, Cain, Khan, Dworzak, Brown, Mitchell

When you list it like that. It looks very weak and lacking in any creativity.

I think we can all assume Dworzak and Brown won't feature and will most likely be loaned out. Mitchell? Will we even see him on the bench? I doubt it. Uwakwe, Cain, Khan. At least one of those is off. Clarke can't play 90 minutes so we're definitely going to have to bring some quality in.

I think right now they need the extra striker and keeper as Kennedy has said.
If they can ship out a midfield player and bring in a better one than great.

However Ofoborh, Cotterell, Clarke, McGurk, Khan and Cain, isn't actually too bad at this level honestly. Yes we miss a real creative player, but that may not be the way we are going to play!

That's 6 decent options for 3 spots in there.

Very pro active. 2 days before the season and wants a keeper and a striker.

To be fair both of those are likely to be backup options so not a massive priority right now.

Personally I think a creative midfielder is more of a priority

Remi Matthews (FB rumour, so...)

Under contract with Palace for another year, so it would be a loan, and therefore i assume it would be as number 1, not as back up.

He would be coming in as number one right? I like JB but on the evidence of last season, i dont think he’s quite ready yet.

Yeah he was a desperate pick up honestly. He has potential, which is why an experienced back up would make sense, or a more experienced number 1 to learn off of.

Someone one else on FB also said they saw him and spoke to him earlier. Hopefully some truth to it…

Makes sense. Palace’s goalkeeping coach is Dean Kiely, so there is a tenuous link there.

If that is the link - then could we not use it to try and get some of the young exciting attacking talent Palace (probably) have rather than a 30 year old goal keeper who as far as I can tell played less than 5 minutes of football last season…

Plus Palace’s second choice keeper Sam Johnstone has just asked to leave the club…

Yeah, even if it was true that will at the very least delay things you'd think

Not sure we would sign a GK on loan, surely it is going to be another youngster prepared to sit and wait for his chance
